½medium banana

Instructions
Prepare Strawberries: Slice 1 strawberry into a fan. As demonstrated in the video. Slice the other four strawberries a ¼ inch thick.
Prepare Banana: Slice the banana ½ an inch thick.
Make Strawberry Banana Filing: Combine the sugar, vanilla extract, and hot water and mix until the sugar is dissolved in a small mixing bowl. Add and combine strawberries and bananas in a small mixing bowl.
Assemble Dessert: Alternate fruit filling with the cake. Halfway through add half of the whipped cream.
Top the dessert with the rest of the whipped cream.
Place fanned strawberry garnish on top.
